This is a yDNA project hosted by Family Tree DNA, however we welcome and encourage women who have a Winslow ancestor somewhere in their lineage. Currently there is a total of 128 participants.
We would encourage all who are reading this website to contact Family Tree DNA and obtain a test kit. If you have already tested elsewhere, please consider uploading your results to Family Tree DNA.
When you receive your results choose "Winslow" and "Mayflower" as two of your "groups". It's that easy! Family Tree DNA allows you to join as many groups as you would like - there is no limit. You will have the opportunity to connect with distant relatives you didn't even know you had. Not to mention that you will be helping to work towards validating, not only Winslow, but other Mayflower family lines. This is such very important research and you can help! You will also learn your haplo group and discover your families' origins. We have a goal to validate existing Winslow lineages and document their many descendants.
